The Ray - From the Kingdom Come MiniSeries
     The Ray from the Kingdom Come card set based on the comic book mini-series Kingdom Come. His suit closely resembles the one worn by his father, the Golden Age Ray.

THE RAY
     Ray Terrill's inherited ability to absorb and rearrange sunlight origonated when his father, "Happy" Terrill - The Golden Age hero known as The Ray - was exposed to an experimental genetic "light bomb" years before. Having recently found out about his powers, this new Ray's still learning how to use them, albeit reluctantly, pushed only by his father's ghost.

     Stunned by the transformation, his entry into the super-hero world has been at best reluctant, but his power to wield tremendous energy and to fly at light-speed ensure that The Ray will soon become one of crimefighting's shinning stars!

     Only days after the 1941 bombing of Pearl Harbor, Happy Terrill gained light-based powers during a high-altitude ballooning "accident" and became The Ray. Today, his name and powers are carried on by his son - the new Ray.
